The virtual cockpit is lower in polygon usage to insure good frame
rates and still contains nice detail. The aircraft is enhanced to
function in both switched interior viewing mode and virtual cockpit
mode. The instrument panels are 1024x1024 so you will need to scroll
using the arrow keys on the keyboard or assign joystick buttons. The
instrument panels are designed for easy reading of instruments.
The values found flying in the sim should
compare within 5% tolerance of real values.

Making your own
livery:
You can use you favorite
paint program to make your own livery very easily. You can use the paint
bucket and place your favorite colors at the locations labeled in the
ultralight_cockpit.png graphic file of each aircraft. Or, you can repaint as you wish.
Be sure to save in .png format with a layer active for transparency.
For a nice inexpensive
alternative paint program you can try Paint Shop Pro. They usually have
a demo you can download and try.

Some Flying Tips:
You will need to steer
with your rudder in the water.
Takeoffs and landings are
intended to be on grass and not pavement for the float model if not
taking off or landing on water.
Cruise is intended to be
at 5900 RPM
Set wave height less than
.5 feet for best results in the water.
Takeoff and land into the
wind.
Approach speed 40 MPH
There is no audible stall
indicator. Watch your speed when near the end of the green arc.
