Superb detailing built entirely outside of Planemaker! Includes many animated parts and pilot figure.

Choose from flying the FAR Part 103 model (Rotax 447) or experimental model (Rotax 503) with floats. Recovery chute is included in both models.

This is a brand new build for v8 from the ground up with plans for the real aircraft. You have your choice of interior viewing with panning a detailed virtual cockpit or you can use as switching for viewing. The instrumentation is all easy to read and view as you fly in either switched viewing mode or virtual cockpit mode. You can customize the instrument layout in Planemaker very easily if you would like without any additional artwork. You just merely click and drag items from the instrument panel..

Making your own livery:

You can use you favorite paint program to make your own livery very easily. You can use the paint bucket and place your favorite colors at the locations labeled in the ultralight_cockpit.png graphic file. Or, you can repaint as you wish. Be sure to save in .png format with a layer active for transparency.

Some Flying Tips:

You will need to steer with your rudder both on the ground and in the water.

Takeoffs and landings are intended to be on grass and not pavement for the float model if not taking off or landing on water.

There is no ground wheel steering

Cruise is intended to be at 5900 RPM

There is no trim. If you fly at cruise speed the aircraft should fly level.

Set wave height less than .5 feet for best results in the water.

Takeoff and land into the wind.

Approach speed 40 MPH

There is no audible stall indicator. Watch your speed when near the end of the green arc.
